What it is

PIPharma handles quotations, invoicing and stock movement for pharmaceutical distribution.

It shares its core with MHS, our system for the fittings trade, configured for how pharmaceutical distributors work instead. That is deliberate: the underlying problem is the same in both trades, and building on a system already in production is faster and steadier than starting again.

Quotation, invoice and stock movement run off the same records, so the price quoted is the price invoiced and stock moves when goods do rather than when someone gets to it.

Quotations are written in one place, invoices in another, and stock is counted when someone remembers. Nothing reconciles, so the price quoted, the price invoiced and the stock actually held can all disagree.
